Price Increase Reporting

Pharmaceutical manufacturers with United States Food and Drug Administration-approved prescription drugs sold in or into Texas with prescription drugs that cost $100 or more for a one-month supply are required to report price increases if the price increase is:

  • 15 percent or greater than the lowest WAC from the last calendar year, or
  • 40 percent or greater than the lowest WAC from the last three calendar years. 

This information is required wihin 30 days of the price-increase effective date. Consult the User Guide for instructions.
